10BDL3051T - Setting up BDL with Browser

A.    Connect to a network

 

Enter Admin Menu (press Menu and Vol- button together)

 

Key in password: 1234 (default)

 

Select “Network”

 

Select your chosen interface (Wi-Fi or Ethernet)


Select “Enable”

If Wi-Fi, select your network SSID from available list, enter password, and select Connect (use List/Adjust to move cursor between buttons on popup box)

B.    Create Browser Playlist

 

The example below is to set a url for playlist 1. You can create more than 1 playlist, each with its own website URL address.

Enter Admin Menu (press Menu and Vol- button together)

Key in password: 1234 (default)

Select “Apps”-> “Browser”

Click Settings


Navigate to a playlist (eg. 1), press OK


 

Enter the website address  Press OK to confirm.

If you require multiple URL, create each one on different playlist, noting down the playlist number.


 

C.     Set Screen To Show A Certain Website When Turned On

 

Enter Admin Menu (press Menu and Vol- button together)

Key in password: 1234 (default)

 

Select Signage Display

Select Boot on source

 

Select Input

 


Select on Input from the list Select Browser, Set playlist = 1

 



D.    Schedule Screen To Turn On/Off to a Website

Set the Date & Time

Enter Admin Menu (press Menu and Vol- button together)

Key in password: 1234 (default)

Select System Tools

Set Time accordingly

 

Set Schedule (example given for setting Schedule 1 to play website in Playlist 1)

Schedule screen to turn on and off automatically

Enter Admin Menu (press Menu and Vol- button together)

Key in password: 1234 (default)

Select “Settings”->Signage Display->Schedule


Configure power scheduling accordingly as per screen user manual

(Ensure the screen’s date and time settings are correct as per instructions above)
