24BDL4151T - Setting up BDL with Media Player as source


BDL – Android – 41BDL3051T - Setting up BDL with Media Player

Put the content into the USB in the following directories:
philips/video/ -> video
philips/photo/ -> photo
philips/music/ -> music
philips/pdf/ -> pdf

Get into The Media Player
1. Put the USB stick in the monitor
2. Enter Admin Menu (press Menu THEN Vol- button - NOT TOGETHER)
 

3. Key in password: 1234 (default)
 
4. Click Apps
 
5. Click Media Player
 

Doing basic settings in Media Player
1. Click Settings
 
2. Click Repeat Mode
3. Choose- Repeat All
4. Press  back button  

Creating Playlist in Media Player
1. Media Player-> Compose
 
2. PlayList = File 1
3. Select Media From? USB
4. Navigate through the directory structure Select content by clicking   on the one you'd like to be included into the playlist
 

5. Once done click the Toolbar button( )

6. Add (to add to the list)
 

7. Save (to save the list)
 
8. Save or Abort? (Save)

9. Add background music to slideshow?  No (You may not be asked this question on some sw version)
10. Overwrite? Yes
11. Hit the back button until the media player is closed

How to set the default input to be the media player, playlist 1.
1. Go back to the admin menu by pressing (MENU) and (Volume↓):
 
2. Select Signage Display
3. Select Boot on source
4. Select Input  
5. Select on Input from the list Select Media Player App
6. Set playlist = 1

DONE..
You can press back until you exit.
