PHILIPS D Line Android Module Software Update
Check if the screen is already running the latest Software version (FB11.04).
Press in sequence "info, 7, 7", check if the Android FW Version is FB11.04
Download the latest Android firmware:
In the root directory of a USB disk (FAT32 formatted) place the
update.zip
files.
Do not unzip the file.
Alternatively, go to
https://bit.ly/2Z87AkG on the Chromium browser on the BDL screen to download the firmware file straight to the screen.
Then, move the
update.zip file to the root
//internal/ directory.
How to upgrade the Android Module Software:
1. Press in sequence “Home, 1, 8, 8, 8” to enter the Admin Mode and Click “Settings”.
2. Plug in the Storage device.
3. Choose “About” --> “System updates”
4. Choose the update file from the list and press ok.
5. The monitor will reboot to perform the update and reboot again when the operation is finished.
