BDL - Dragon 1.6 (xxBDL4051D) - Android Module Software Update
Download the latest android firmware:
In the root directory of a USB disk place the update.zip files.
Check if the screen is already running the latest Software Version
1. Press info+7+7 on your remote to check the current Software version of the screen
2. Compare it with the version written in the link above (picture below is an example only, the version may have changed to a later versions)
How to upgrade the Android Module Software:
1. Insert the USB Drive as per the picture below
2. Press in sequence “Home, 1, 8, 8, 8” to enter the Admin Mode and Click “Settings”.
3. Select "Signage Display"->"System updates"->"Local update"
4. The system will automatically detect the update.zip from the USB Drive. Select OK and the Software will update itself.
5. The monitor will reboot to perform the update and reboot again when the operation is finished.
6. Perform Factory Reset to complete the Software update
go into android menu (Home 1888) -> Settings->Signage Display->System Tools->Factory Reset
Check if the firmware has been upgraded, using remote sequence Info+7+7 sequence.
