BDL3117P Firmware Update Procedure
Download your firmware (version 1.011):
Copy the firmware file corresponding to your model to the USB disk (FAT32) root directory, do NOT rename the file.
Insert the USB stick in the monitor.
Press the home button on the remote control, select Option ->
On the right select “Firmware update”, select “yes” with the arrow keys on the remote control
Wait a few seconds and the FW will update by itself.
This takes a few minutes, you will see the progress on the screen.
When finished enter the factory menu by pressing “Home 1999 return” on the remote control. Wait until the menu is present before pressing the “1999 return” buttons.
A blue screen will appear.
Select “Other”
Check if the “SW version” is the correct version.
Download now the MSB6000 (=HDMI) version V0.63:
Don’t rename the bin file, copy the file to the root of an USB stick and insert in the monitor.
Select MSB6000, set below settings and press Start.
The HDMI firmware upgrade will start, this takes about 20 seconds.
When finished remove the USB stick.
If both firmwares are correct do a factory reset from the factory menu ( see red marker below), select factory reset and press OK on the remote control, you will not see any confirmation on the screen, the monitor will reboot in about 20 seconds.
Do now an AC reboot.
