BDL3550Q USB Logging

BDL3550Q USB Logging

  1. Rename an empty txt file to “TPVisionDebug.cookie”

  1. Put this file on an empty FAT32 formatted USB stick and connect it to TV while in standby
    - Logging will automatically start, will be written in “TPVisionDebug” folder
    - Logging will continue to be written to the folder during normal use of the TV
    - Reproduce the problem you have
  2. After reproduction is done, before disconnecting the USB from the TV, enter "Home + 1666 + back" on the RC (if you are able to) then remove the USB
  3. Zip the "TPVisionDebug" folder and share it with the Westan support team
General tip
While logging, when you see something wrong on the screen, press the red button a couple of times and press the green button when the behavior is OK. This makes it easier to find problem behaviour in the USB log.
