BDL4650D Installing An APK and Set It As Custom App

Steps

1. Copy your .apk file to an USB stick

2. Put the USB stick in the monitor

3. open the admin menu:

press in a sequence home 1888 on the remote control ( within 2 seconds)

Default PIN is 1234

4. Select APPS

5. Select File Manager

6. Select USB disk

7. Select your apk and open it

8. Follow the instructions, the apk will be installed.

9. Assign your installed apk to the “custom” source selection.

Hit the back button until the file manager is closed

Select Settings

Select Signage Display

Select Source settings

Select Custom App

Select app

Enabling force restart custom app will restart the app if for some reason the app doesn’t work anymore.

Select your installed app from the list and click on Save

Do below steps if your monitor must start up with your installed apk:

Press the home button on the remote control

Select configuration 1 > Boot on source

Set “Input” to custom and save press ok.

Your apk will now start up each time the monitor is powered on.

If you did close the apk, you can open it again with the remote control by selecting source input “custom”
