BFL2114 Fusion Signage Cloning Guide


How to create the USB with the latest TV firmware and clone data

  1. Download the latest firmware from https://westanonline.sharepoint.com/:f:/s/Support/EmTtHo1RftBZs7g88wQgv-QBgvF0AJKpPgfNj_lA1O73eQ?e=xew4CZ
    1. Copy the autorun.upg file to the root directory of the USB (ensure the filename is autorun.upg
      1. Download the Clone file (BFL2x14 Fusion Signage 2.3.8 Clone.zip) from https://westanonline.sharepoint.com/:f:/s/Support/Egu9E838YHJDqCrLx-VSeXsBLq5SjiGVHO52yge9xYMn2g?e=BGLtCk
        1. Unzip and copy the TPM181HE_CloneData folder to the root directory of the USB

      Cloning Process:

      1. Connect the power and network cable to the TV (The network cable IS NOT the yellow RJ45, IT IS the grey one)
      2. Plug in the USB with firmware (autorun.upg file) and Clone data (TPM181HE_CloneData folder) to the blue USB port on the side panel.
      3. Turn the TV On if it is not already turning on by itself, TV will boot to the IIC screen (Instant Initial Cloning)
      4. TV will boot to the IIC screen (Instant Initial Cloning).

      5. Wait for the TV to automatically update the SW.
      6. Once the firmware update is completed, the TV will automatically upload the clone data.
      7. Once cloning has been completed, press the OK button to close the cloning screen.
      8. Continue with on-screen setup by setting Presentation Mode = Off and connecting the TV to the internet (Fusion Signage requires internet access).
      9. Press the BACK button repeatedly to exit out of the Pro menu.
      10. Restart the TV.
      11. Fusion Signage app will load automatically. Note down the Fusion Identity#. 


      Possible Issues:


      You do not see IIC Page

      You need to re-install the TV to start afresh (TV configuration will be wiped out)
      Follow these steps:
      1. Enter Pro menu by pressing MUTE, LEFT, RIGHT, UP, DOWN, OK buttons. (without 2 seconds)
      2. Go to Reset ⇾ Reinstall TV ⇾ Yes ⇾ OK
      3. TV will re-install and reboot itself.
      4. At the end of the re-install process, you'll be shown the IIC (Instant Initial Cloning) Page
      Follow the Cloning Process Step 5 onwards

      TV is stuck in IIC Page without any progress

      If the TV is stuck in the IIC' page for longer than 5 minutes without any movement on the progress bar, you need to skip the IIC Page and re-install the TV to start afresh (TV configuration will be wiped out)
      Follow the steps below:
      1. Press Cancel
      2. Select Change Room ID and press OK
      3. Set the room ID appropriately (or ignore it if you don't know) and press Confirm
      4. Click Accept when presented with Google Data Notice and Terms of Service
      5. Click Confirm when notified with "Professional Menu -  you completed basic setup of this product..."
      6. You'll be presented with the Pro Menu
      7. Go to Reset ⇾ Reinstall TV ⇾ Yes ⇾ OK
      8. TV will re-install and reboot itself.
      9. At the end of the re-install process, you'll be shown the IIC (Instant Initial Cloning) Page
      Follow the Cloning Process Step 5 onwards


      Identifier code 'Not Found' error


      It means that the code has already been registered.

      To get a new code:
      1. Enter Pro menu by pressing MUTELEFTRIGHTUPDOWNOK buttons.
      2. Go to Android Settings ⇾ Device Preferences ⇾ Storage ⇾ Internal shared storage ⇾ Apps ⇾ Fusion Signage.
      3. Select Force stop and press OK to stop the app.
      4. Select Clear cache and press OK.
      5. Select Clear data and press OK.
      6. Press the BACK button repeatedly to exit the Pro menu.
      7. Restart the screen.
      8. Register the new Identity#.
