Wifi issues
Step 1 - Turn the screen of at the powerpoint leave it off for 10-15 minutes and then turn it back on again before trying to connect it back to the wi-fi.
Step 2 – If rebooting the screens doesn’t work try turning of the router/modem for a few minutes and then restarting the again.
Step 3 if rebooting screen and router doesn’t fix the issue in connecting to the screen wifi, please get the store to try connecting to a different wifi ie.their mobile hotspot to see if that works.
How to Connect To the Local Wifi from Fusion Signage Interface
Using the Philips remote control
Press OK to bring the Fusion menu on the screen
Select Settings and Press OK
Select Wifi and Press OK
Enable Wifi and connect to the desired wifi network.
Check the screen firmware version.
To view the current Firmware version running on the screen, press Info-77
If the Screen Software is below FB01.07 the firmware on the screen will need to be updated.
Setting up remote control to control individual screen
To use the phillips remote on one screen and not interfere with other ones, follow these instructions.
- Set a monitor ID for each screen
Press [HOME] button on the remote > go to Config 2 > Monitor ID > Give a unique monitor ID (1-5) to each screen > exit out of the menu
- To control a specific screen, on the remote
- Press and hold [ID] button. The red LED blinks twice.
- Press [ID SET] button for more than 1 second to enter the ID Mode. The red LED lights up.
- Press [0] and [1] to control display No.1; press [0] and [2] to control display No. 2; etc.
- Press [ENTER] button (not the OK button) to confirm. The red LED blinks. Now the remote will only control the screen assigned with monitor ID you used.
NOTE: Avoid switching to Normal mode which will control multiple screens at the same time.
FYI, press and hold [NORMAL] button to switch to Normal mode. The green LED blinks twice.
If the screens go into hibernating mode also check the following?
If the screens are set to turn off on a schedule, you can switch them back on with the remote.
Check the following settings:
Menu > Config 1 > Switch on state = Force on
Menu > Advanced >Off timer - Off
Video looks minimized and not correctly displayed.
Ensure that Fusion's Custom Orientation is set to default
Press the OK button on the remote control to bring up Fusion Menu on the screen
Press OK to confirm.
Press back all the way to exit the Fusion Settings menu
Set the Screen's System Rotation to Portrait
