Westan Damage Claim Requirement
Damage claim must be lodged with Westan through support.westan.com.au portal
strictly within 7 days of receipt of units
The damaged unit must be put back into its original box to be returned to Westan.
The damaged unit must be packed into its box in the same way and orientation as it was received.
All Accessories must be included.
If an order item has been received clean by Westan's Reseller and then re-shipped by Westan's Reseller to the Reseller's customer, Westan can assume that the damage has occured in transit between the Reseller and the final destination. In this case, Westan is not obligated to accept the damage claim. The Reseller should ensure they have cover for any such damages.
When a shipment arrived and it looked damaged, please reject it immediately.
It is best to sign the Proof of Delivery with STI (Subject To Inspection), because not having such comment is confirming that the product arrived in good condition.
Damage Claim Submission must include the following high resolution photos:
- Entire box (packaging) from the front
- Entire box (packaging) from the rear
- Entire box (packaging) from the LHS
- Entire box (packaging) from the RHS
- Serial number on the Box
- Serial number on the item
- Entire item from the front – item powered ON
- Entire item from the front – item powered OFF
- Entire item from the rear
- Any other relevant photos
