Preparation


FORMAT a USB Drive with FAT32

Download The Desired Firmware

Note:
Firmware can only updated forward. ie.  you can update fw from v20241113 to v20260112 but not from v20260112 to v20250519.

Copy the files (unzipped) to the root directory of a USB Drive

Updating FSMPV2 Firmware


Insert USB into FSMPv2 (USB port, NOT OTG - inserting it in OTG port will not allow Firmware update to take place)



The Device will recognize the update.zip in the USB, and prompt you to install it.
Idea
(to highlight “Install” SW update, either:
- use a mouse to navigate and click the "Install" button or
- use the remote and press down (3x) to highlight "Install" button and press "OK" on the remote
After sometime, the FSMPv2 will reboot

Install Teamviewer Host


Press the : : : (6 dots) at the bottom middle of the screen
Click Explorer, go to the USB, find the TeamViewerHost.apk
Install TeamViewer Host (filename: TeamViewerHost.apk)
    if android prompt that you're not allowed to install from Explorer, allow it, and proceed to install Teamviewer Host.

Press the : : : (6 dots) at the bottom middle of the screen
Click Host (to Open up TeamViewer Host)
Navigate to the Settings (cog symbol) located at the top right corner of the Teamviewer Host and click it.
Click Install additional Add-On
    if android prompt that you're not allowed to install from Teamviewer Host, allow it, and proceed to install additional Add-On.
