Fusion Signage Upgrade From Legacy Version to Latest Version on Philips Screen with Build in Android Player
Some Philips model, such as xxBDL3050Q can't run the latest Fusion Signage Software and need to run Fusion Signage SW 1.0.22 instead.
If that's the case, do not update the Fusion Signage Software
Overview.
Legacy Fusion Signage Software means Fusion Signage Version 0.x.x
To upgrade, we need to:
1. Get the old screen identifier from the screen (press the OK button, get the Identifier)
2. Remove the old screen identifier from Fusion Signage Portal
3. Remove the legacy Fusion Signage Software from the screen
Press Home 1888 on the remote control to go to android menu
Settings->Apps->search for fusion->Uninstall
4. Install the new Fusion Signage Software from the screen
Copy the apk to the root directory of the USB Drive
Insert the USB Drive into the screen
Press Home 1888 on the remote control to go to android menu
Apps->File Manager-> navigate to the USB Drive
Find the apk file, and run it to install the APK.
5. Get the new screen identifier from the screen (press the OK button, get the Identifier)
Make sure you're connected to the internet.
6. Add the new Screen Identifier on Fusion Signage Portal
