How to (Re)Install Windows 10 and MondoPad Ultra software
Preparation
- Retrieve the existing Windows OS license key as you will need it to activate the new installation.
- Retrieve the existing MondoPad license key if you are planning on continuing the subscription after the reinstallation.

Windows 10 Clean Installation
- Insert the USB drive into an available USB port on the PC (located on the left side behind the edge of the screen) and start the unit up repeatedly pressing the Delete key (on the connected external keyboard). This should take you to the BIOS where you can select to boot from the USB drive in the Boot menu, select the USB drive as the first boot device. USB drive must be plugged in before entering the BIOS.
- Follow the on screen directions to start the installation. Select the advanced mode and delete all the partitions to remove everything from the drive and allow the Windows installation to recreate the partitions from scratch assuring that nothing carries over from the original installation.
- During the installation, enter the Windows license key retrieved from the previous installation or skip this for now. Once Windows is installed, right-click on Start and select System. In the System change your Windows key and enter the Windows license Key. Microsoft has been allowing Win 7 keys to activate Windows 10 if entered here. (Note: this could stop at any time)
- Once Windows is installed, apply all Windows standard and optional updates.
- Check the Device Manager to see that all the drivers are installed and there are no unknown devices.
- If you come across "PCI Data Acquisition and Signal Processing Controller" Exclamation Mark, install the latest Intel® Server Chipset driver

Do not add to a domain or add any security software until the MondoPad software installation and setup is complete.
Once Windows 10 is completely installed, then download the MondoPad Ultra V5 from the InFocus website below on to the MondoPad PC and launch it.
