Philips Hospitality TV and its remote can be configured to 14 different pair set. (0-9, blue, yellow, green red)
A Philips TV can only work with Remote control that matches its remote id.
By default both the TV and remote are set to Blue mode
To set the TV to a different remote id:
- Go to Professional Menu (press 3,1,9,7,5,3,mute)
- Navigate to Professional Settings Menu->Installation/Feature->Multi Remote control (for older models like xxHFL5011)
- Navigate to Professional Settings Menu -> Input Control -> Multi Remote Control (for newer models like xxHLF5014 onwards)
- Set the ID accordingly
To set the Remote to a different remote id:
- Press Home and the remote id (0-9, blue, yellow, green or red) for 20 seconds (anything less wouldn't be successful, this is to prevent remote from accidentally being set to wrong remote ID.)
To check the remote id on both the TV and the remote
- Press the OK button for about 10 seconds.
