xxBDL3010Q (Challenger 2.1) - some images in slideshow take longer time to load compare to others
Issue Description
When displaying a couple of images from USB, some images are being displayed much longer (up to 24 seconds) compared to some others (usually 5 seconds)
Issue Cause
JPEG file are compressed using progressive and non progressive (baseline/standard) compression.
Progressive compression takes longer to load where the baseline/standard is much faster.
Work around.
Ensure all JPG images are compressed using baseline/standard format.
Check whether the JPG file is progressive or non-progressive
Check file on this URL.
Change JPG to non-progressive
To change the image file from progressive to non-progressive
Open JPG file using Microsoft Paint
Then Save-As the original filename
