xxBDL4002H-4003H Firmware Upgrade Procedure via USB

Copy the firmware file corresponding to your model to the USB disk (FAT32) root directory, do NOT rename the file:

Insert the USB stick in the monitor.
Press the Home button on the remote, select Option ->
On the right, select "Firmware update", then select "yes" with the arrow keys on the remote control, FW will update by itself.


This takes a few minutes, you will see the progress on the screen.

When finished enter the factory menu by pressing "Home 1999 back" on the remote control.  Wait until the menu is present before pressing the "1999 back" buttons.  A blue screen will appear.

Select "Other"




















Check if the "SW version" is the correct version.
Flash the MSB6000 (=HDMI firmware) to the latest version:


Download the MSB6000 version V0.63: PHP_BDL4511D_MSBHK_VT.63.bin

Don't rename the bin file, copy the file to the root of a USB stick and insert in the monitor.
Select MSB6000, set below settings and press Start.
The HDMI firmware upgrade will start, this takes about 5-8 minutes.


When finished, remove the USB stick.
If both firmware are correct, do a factory reset from the factory menu (See red marker below), select factory reset and press OK on the remote control, you will not see any confirmation on the screen, the monitor will reboot in about 20 seconds.



Do an AC reboot now.
Finished.
