Aidoru Product Limited Warranty Statement
Aidoru products are warranted to be free of defects in material and workmanship for the product's Warranty Period.
The Warranty Period commences on the original purchase date of the product by our customer. All Aidoru products are covered by a Limited Product Warranty as found below:
LIFETIME for metal video monitor mounts, all racks / shelves and non-electrical accessories (excluding plastic parts)
FIVE YEARS for plastic speaker mounts, all speaker stands, all furniture, all electric sit-stand desks, all wood (MDF) accessories
THREE YEARS for all automatic products (excluding electric sit-stand desks), including but not limited to those with electric, gas-spring, spring and pneumatic components, and plastic parts / pieces used in metal monitor mounts, racks, shelves and other non-electrical accessories.
For warranty claims made during the above Warranty Periods, Westan will replace or credit the amount of any defective product part free of charge. Should a part on your Aidoru product fail, contact Westan (support.westan.com.au) to make a warranty claim. We will discuss the problem with you and once we confirm the product is under warranty, we will ship replacement parts to you or issue credit based on the amount. Please pay attention to the following:
- The Aidoru Limited Warranty applies to Aidoru designed and engineered products only.
- This Limited Warranty extends only to the original purchaser of the product and is automatically void if your Aidoru product is modified in any way, improperly installed (including the installation of other products to the mount / shelf not manufactured by Aidoru) or loaded beyond its stated weight capacity or otherwise misused or abused.
- This Limited Warranty does not cover the costs of removing and replacing defective parts from your Aidoru product. If your problem requires a repair technician, Westan is not liable for any labour charges.
- Aidoru products are intended for indoor use only and any outdoor use voids this Limited Warranty.
- The Limited Warranty does not cover wear and tear, friction damages, breakage of plastic and glass, spring wearing, coating defects or the impact of using a product in an outdoor environment or in any manner that exposes the product to weather, water, snow, rain, excessive heat (exceeding operational temperatures) or any other element(s) that would harm the product during its use.
- The Limited Warranty does not cover losses or damage due to fire, theft, vandalism, modifications, repairs, accidents, force majeure or any other act(s) that cause the product to fail.
- The Limited Warranty for wall and ceiling mounts is void if the user / installer has ignored safety rules or not properly followed assembly instructions.
- Should a replacement part or product be discontinued or unavailable, Westan reserves the right to substitute a comparable replacement part or product for the defective part or product.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Westan disclaims and any other warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of fitness for a particular purpose and warranties of merchantability. Westan will not be liable for any damages whatsoever arising out of the use or inability to use its products, even if Westan has been advised of the possibility of such damages. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Westan disclaims any responsibility for incidental or consequential damages including damage caused to electronic equipment or to the surroundings by the use of the product.
NB: a limited warranty means that a manufacturer is contractually obligated to replace parts of a product that break or are defective over the warranty period of a product. However, the manufacturer is not legally obligated to replace parts that are not mentioned in the warranty or are broken or misused by the consumer. Products replaced under warranty continue to be covered for the original product's remaining warranty period. Shipping costs and responsibilities are determined during the warranty claim process. Westan reserves the right to make improvements / changes / clarifications to the Aidoru Limited Warranty. Should you have any questions, please contact Westan via Westan Support portal.
