Configuring xxHFLxx14x Hotel TVs - Checklist
Access the Professional Menu:
- Option 1: Press MUTE, LEFT, RIGHT, UP, DOWN, OK buttons on the user remote control (within 2 seconds), OR
- Option 2: Press RC6 GUEST followed by the Settings button on the green master remote control
- Power settings
- Advanced → Power → Power On = Standby
- Advanced → Power → Standby Mode = Fast*
- Assign a room number to the TV
- Identification Settings → RoomID = enter a 5-digit number
- Tune channels
- Channels → RF Channel Installation → Search for Channels → Advanced reinstall → Select Country = Australia → Start channel search
- Switch On Settings → Channel Settings → Switch On Channel → Select channel
- Set Date & Time
- Date & Time → Source = Automatic NTP/Channels
- Date & Time → Source Channels = set it to a TV channel
- Date & Time → NTP Settings → NTP Source = Default
- Date and Time → Time Zone Setting → Time Zone Country = Australia
- Date and Time → Time Zone Setting → Time Zone Region = select your Time Zone Region
- Connect to the internet
- Wireless and Networks → Settings → Wi-Fi Country/Region = Australia
- Wireless and Networks → Connect to Network
- Make the TV visible on CMND
- Wireless and Networks → Control TV Over IP → WebServices → Server URL = http://cmndipaddress:8080/SmartInstall/webservices.jsp*
- Wireless and Networks → Control TV Over IP → WebServices → turn on all services*
- Wireless and Networks → Control TV Over IP → WebListeningServices → turn on all services*
- Wireless and Networks → Control TV Over IP → WebListeningServices → Port Settings → WLS Port = 9079*
- Upgrade and Clone → Auto Upgrade Settings → Auto Upgrade and Clone = On
- Advanced → Professional Mode = On*
- AppControl settings
- Features → Apps → SmartTV Server Settings → SmartTV Mode = Profile*
- Features → Apps → SmartTV Server Settings → Profile Settings → AppControl ID Type = Manual*
- Features → Apps → SmartTV Server Settings → Profile Settings → AppControl ID = enter your ID*
- Features → Apps → SmartTV Server Settings → Profile Settings → Profile Name = enter your profile name*
- Guest Management → Guest Profile Download = On
- Guest Management → PMS → Default Dashboard PMS = On*
- Guest Management → Clear User Data = CheckIn and CheckOut*
- Advanced → Diagnostic Logging → Enable = Yes*
- Advanced → Diagnostic Logging → Destination = Portal*
- Content (UI)
- *Dashboard → Select Dashboard = Philips Home
NOTE: If you are replacing the default UI of the TV with a custom UI using JSON commands, you should set this setting to 'Custom Dashboard (Browser based)'. These JSON commands are described in the JAPIT documentation, which you can obtain by signing an NDA with Philips through Westan.
Keep the setting on 'Philips Home', if you are using a modified version of the default UI or using a SmartInfo UI designed by Spotty Dog, - Features → Welcome screen → ScreenSaver as Welcome Screen = No
- Features → SmartInfo → Mode = Browser
- Features → SmartInfo → Browser settings → Source = Local
- Switch On Settings → Feature Settings → Switch On Feature = SmartInfo
- Input Control → Remote Control → "SmartInfo" RC Key Mapping = Dashboard
- Input Control → Remote Control → "TV Menu" RC Key Mapping = SmartInfo
- Set Weather app settings
- Identification Settings → Premises Geonames ID = get ID from http//www.geonames.org/
- Other settings
- Switch On Settings → Guest Management → Guest Country = Australia
- TV Settings → Sound → Sound Management → Headphone/Bathroom speakers = Off

Setting up the Voice Remote Control (Model#: 22AV2025B)
Pair the Voice RC with the TV
- Press the Settings button for 3 seconds to pair with the TV.
After 3 seconds you will see a blue LED blinking next to the standby button. You will see a message on screen that the TV is paired with your remote control. - Press the Google Assistant button on the remote to set up Google Assistant and start talking.
Update the Voice RC Software
- Professional Menu → Input Control → Bluetooth Remote Control → Update remote control software
