FSMPv2 - Installation Guide


Make sure:
- You are using the FSMPv2 Remote
  
- the remote has a working battery
- point the remote to the FSMPv2 device (NOT THE SCREEN)

Connecting To the Internet


You can connect FSMPv2 via Wifi or Ethernet.
If you are connecting the FSMPv2 through the ethernet, that connection will take precedence over Wifi.
If you want to connect FSMPv2 via Wifi, you must disconnect the ethernet cable to FSMPv2

Connecting via Ethernet

Simply connect the ethernet cable to the FSMPv2's Ethernet interface

Connecting via Wifi

Press the OK button to bring up the Fusion Signage menu
Select Settings, then click OK
Select Wifi Settings, then click OK
Select the desired Wifi access point, then click OK
If you can't see the desired Wifi, please try to reset the FSMPv2 Device. Refer to the article below
Key in the wifi password
Navigate to the enter icon   on the on screen keyboard, then press OK
Press back to get rid of the on screen keyboard
Navigate to the  "Connect" option and wait until the wifi is connected.
when done, press the back button until the Fusion Signage content is displayed on the screen.

Verifying Internet Connection

Press the OK button to bring up the Fusion Signage menu
If you see the word "offline" that means the Fusion Signage is not connected to the internet.
Check that you can access the internet from the device by:
- Pressing the Home button
- Navigate to the Android menu icon (six dots icon) and press OK
- Select Chrome and press OK
- Try to open up www.westan.com.au
- If you can't connect to Westan's website, please consult with your IT department to ensure that the device connection to the internet is not blocked.
- You may also want to try to reset the device and try to set it up again.

Changing Video Orientation

Press the OK button to bring up the Fusion Signage menu
Select Settings, then click OK
Select Screen Orientation, then click OK
Choose the desired Orientation, then click OK
If the video doesn't show correctly, please check the following settings:
Press the "Home" button
Navigate to the Setting icon (Cog) and press OK
Navigate to Device Preferences, press OK
Navigate to Display, press OK
Navigate to HDMI, press OK
Ensure Fixed Rotation is UNTICKED
Press back.
Power off and power on FSMPv2

Checking Other Settings

Press the OK button to bring up the Fusion Signage menu
Select Settings, then click OK
Ensure the following settings are enabled:
Automatic Updates - Enabled
Automatic Start - Enabled
