FSMPv2 - Updating the SW - For player used with Novastar Controller

Update Procedure SOP

Note: The Firmware in this version will work with most Novastar Controller models. If issues persist, please contact the support team

FORMAT a USB Drive with FAT32

Download update.zip file v20250519 from here https://bit.ly/49Z6AS5

Copy the update.zip file to the root directory of a USB Drive

Insert USB into FSMPv2



The Device will recognize the update.zip in the USB, and prompt if you want to install it.
Idea
(to highlight “Install” SW update, I had to press down button on the FSMPv2 remote 3x when the prompt appear)

Press DOWN, DOWN, DOWN on the remote until the "Install" button is highlighted.

Then press OK to begin install

The FSMPv2 will reboot, remove the USB Drive when SW update is complete
