Set Up Screen's Network

Fusion Signage is a cloud base signage solution.
A reliable connection to the Internet is required to ensure that it work properly
Enter Android Menu (Press: Home, 1, 8, 8, 8 [within 2 seconds])

Select “Network”


Select your chosen interface (without any dongle, only Ethernet is available)




Select “Enable”

If Wi-Fi is available and selected, select your network SSID from available list, enter password, and select Connect (use List/Adjust to move cursor between buttons on popup box)

Press “Back” on the remote control (RC) several times if you wish to exit the Android menu completely.


Download Fusion Signage Software

Use Fusion Signage version 1.0.22 on xxBDL3050Q as there is a compatibility issue between xxBDL3050Q and the latest Fusion Signage Software version.

Fusion Signage version 1.0.22, an older version of Fusion Signage Software has been tested to work with xxBDL3050Q .
There are some features which are available on the latest Software that are not available in this version, however version 1.0.22 should be suitable for most deployments.
Known issue on Version 1.0.2.2:
- Cannot support portrait photo/video (need to be formatted in landscape)
- Some website content (if content is a URL) will not render properly
- When website content has clickable link, it can't be clicked.

Download Fusion Signage version 1.0.22 from the following link https://s3-ap-southeast-2.amazonaws.com/fusion-signage-releases/fusion-app-release-v1.0.22.apk
 
Copy the .apk file to the root directory of the USB Drive

Install Fusion Signage Software


65BDL3050Q, 75BDL3050Q, 86BDL3050Q – insert the  USB  disk  into  the  third  USB  port,  the  first  row  near  the  rear  cover,  as  picture  1.

55BDL3050Q, 49BDL3050Q – insert the  USB  disk  into  the  second  port  from  top  to  bottom,  as  picture  2.



Enter Android Menu (Press: Home, 1, 8, 8, 8 [within 2 seconds])
Select “Apps”

Select “File Manager”


Select “mnt” -> Open














Select “usb storage” -> Open


Select the Fusion Signage .apk file -> Open - > Install

When installation is complete, select “Done”

Press “Back” on the RC several times if you wish to exit the Android menu completely.


Configure Screen's Android's Settings


Assign Fusion Signage to the “custom” input source

Enter Android Menu (Press: Home, 1, 8, 8, 8 [within 2 seconds])

Select “Settings”


Select “Signage Display”

Select “Custom App”


Select “Select App”


Select Fusion Signage from the popup list of apps, the select “Save”

Press “Back” on the RC several times if you wish to exit the Android menu completely.


Set Date & Time

Enter Android Menu (Press: Home, 1, 8, 8, 8 [within 2 seconds])

Select “Settings”


Select Date & Time

Press: Right NAV and select “Select time zone”


 

Select your local time zone

Press “Back” on the RC several times if you wish to exit the Android menu completely.


Configure Screen's Non-Android Settings

Set screen to automatically turn on after an unplanned power outage.

Home -> Configuration 1 -> Switch on state = Force On

Home -> Configuration 1 -> Boot on source -> Action

      Input = Custom

Home -> Advanced option -> Power Save = Mode 1

Home -> Advanced option -> Off Timer = 0

Home -> Advanced option -> Date and time

 Set Auto Sync = YES


Running Fusion Signage

Option 1 - Running Fusion Signage by Power OFF/ON screen to auto load app

Once all the steps above have been action-ed, power off/on the screen with the remote control to complete the installation and auto-load the app.

Option 2 - Running Fusion Signage Using The Source Button

Press the Source button
Navigate to Custom-> OK
Fusion should start, if it doesn't, review the steps above

Pairing Fusion Signage Screen

When you run Fusion Signage app that hasn't been paired with an account, you'll see the following screen with the unique 'Identity' required to pair the screen.

If the Identity value is blank, that means that Fusion Signage App can't reach the cloud server. Please confirm that your network connection is working and can access the internet.

 

Log into your Fusion Signage account

Open http://http://app.fusionsignage.com.au/ and login to your account


Click Screens


Add Screen to the account

Click Add Screen (Top Right Corner)

Key In the Identifier from the screen and click Add Screens


[OPTIONAL] Schedule screen to turn on and off automatically

Home -> Advanced Option -> Schedule -> Action



You can configure up to 7 schedule
To enable the configured schedule, you must TICK the tick box on the left of the number 1-7 depending on which schedule you want to enable
For Fusion Signage, Input must be set to Custom
The "Every Week" tick box must be ticked to ensure that the schedule is run in perpetuity, otherwise it will only run once (1 week)


(Ensure the screen’s date and time settings are correct as per instructions above)
