xxBDL3550Q Getting Wifi to work with xxBDL3550Q Models

To get Wifi to work with xxBDL3550Q models you need to use USB Wifi Dongle

Two USB Wifi Dongle models are supported

EDIMAX EW-7722UTN V3

TP-LINK Archer T4U v3


Screen's software needs to be at least FB01.11


xxBDL3550Q require a USB-Wifi dongle.
The following USB Wifi Dongle models are supported:
      EDIMAX EW-7722UTN V3
      TP-LINK Archer T4U v3
For either type to work, the screen needs to run on FB01.11 SW version or later.

Check the Screen Current SW Version & Update Procedure


Check the Screen's software version by pressing "Info,7,7" button on the remote
The SW version will have FB... in front of the version number. The SW version need to be higher than FB01.11

Where to Insert the USB-Wifi dongle at


For 32BDL3550Q, 43BDL3550Q, 50BDL3550Q and 55BDL3550Q – insert the  USB  wifi dongle into  the  top USB  port,  as  picture  1.


For 65BDL3550Q, 75BDL3550Q – insert the  USB  wifi dongle into  any USB port, as picture  2.


Once the SW is updated and USB wifi dongle is inserted.
Enter Android Menu - Home 1888
Go to Network
And configure Wifi accordingly.
