Overview

BDL4152E cloning is a 3 step process:
1. Download Files
2. Perform Forced FW Update (will wipe all current settings)
3. Update Touch FW
4. Update HDMI FW
5. Apply Vivi Clone
6. Customize Settings


Long Version

1. Perform Forced FW Update (will wipe all current settings)

Format the USB Drive with the following settings:

  File system=FAT32
  Allocation unit size = 64 kilobyte

Download the Android SW Forced update file

Latest version is FB02.07
- aml_upgrade_package.img
- aml_sdc_burn.ini
- EP9471E_(TPV_4152E)_V0_07_240603.bin
Copy to the root folder of the USB storage formatted in FAT32.

Perform Forced Update:

1. Insert the USB drive to the USB interface behind the screen.
2. Power Off the Screen from the Main

3. Press and hold the "Input" Button on the keypad and then Power On the Screen (from the main switch - not the remote).
4. Continue holding the "INPUT" Button until the screen displays upgrade information.

5. System will automatically restart once the upgrade is complete and show the Welcome screen


4. Apply Vivi Clone

Format the USB Drive with the following settings:

  File system=FAT32
  Allocation unit size = 64 kilobyte

Download the BDL4152E Vivi Clone

Latest is BDL4152E FB02.07 Vivi 3.9.0 Clone files into USB Drive.
Download all the files in this link

Unzip the downloaded files and copy all the files and folders into the root directory of a USB Drive formatted with FAT32
Copy all directories files into the root directory of the USB Drive.

Perform Clone In


AlertClone taken from a BDL4152E is FW Specific
The origin BDL4152E FW version and the destination BDL4152E FW version need to match otherwise clone in will be unsuccesful
If the screen is brand new out of the box, the SW version should be written on the side of the box (FB__.__)
If the screen has already been configured, press info,7,7 to see the FW version (FB__.__)
1. Insert the USB Drive to any USB Interface on the screen


2. Select "English"
    Navigate to "Start"
    Press OK (remote)
      

3. Select "Clone media files form USB storage"
    Navigate to the "Next" button
    Press OK (remote)
      
4. Select Import Signage Display Settings from USB
    Navigate to the "Next" button
    Press OK (remote)


5. Navigate to "Finish"
    Press OK (remote)


6. Screen will say "Please wait"


Once cloning is done, you'll see this screen


Allow Vivi Receiver to send you notifications? Allow


2. Update Touch FW

The Touch FW is embedded inside the Screen SW but need to be separately installed
Ensure the USB drive created in step 1 is inserted into the screen.
Press Home 1999 back to go to the factory menu
Note down the Touch FW version 
Select "Update Touch FW"
Click "Yes" to confirm update
Screen will reboot
To check if update successful (optional):
Press Home 1999 back to go to the factory menu
Note down the Touch FW version has changed

3. Update HDMI FW

Require file "EP9471E_(TPV_4152E)_V0_07_240603.bin" downloaded in step 1.
Ensure the USB drive created in step 1 is inserted into the screen.
Press Home 1999 back to go to the factory menu
The current FW version is shown under "HDMI Switch 1/2 FW version"
Select HDMI Switch 1 Upgrader
Select Switch FW - choose EP9471E_(TPV_4152E)_V0_07_240603.bin
Upgrade
When finish
Select HDMI Switch 2 Upgrader
Select Switch FW - choose EP9471E_(TPV_4152E)_V0_07_240603.bin
Upgrade

3. Customize Settings

Press Home button on the remote to bring the Settings Menu

Set Date and Time (Default is Sydney)

Navigate to "Advanced option"->"Date and Time"




Set Schedule (optional - to save energy)


If you want to activate the schedule, tick "enable" and then click "save"


Set Admin Password (optional - recommended)







IR Control Lock = Lock All  (optional - recommended to prevent Students from controlling screen using remote)
