Firmware Latest (V1.112) :
1. Copy the responding bin file of your monitor to the root of an USB stick (FAT-32)
Example: monitor : 65BDL6005X > download “B6005X.bin”
2. AC reboot the monitor
3. Press the home button on the remote control, select
“advanced option”, on the right scroll down and select “Scalar FW Update”
If “Scalar FW Update” is grayed out, wait few seconds more, exit the menu
and check again, do this until it is not grayed out anymore.
Format your USB stick and copy again the bin file if it remains grayed out.
4. Select action
5. A message will be displayed on the monitor, the progress bar will be displayed after +/- 10 secs.
Format (FAT32) your USB stick if you don’t see the “Update code”, check also if you did copy the correct bin file.
6. Once finished the monitor will reboot.
7. Press in a sequence on the remote control: home 1999 back, it will display the factory menu, see picture below.
Select “Factory Reset” and press OK on the remote control, this will perform a factory reset. Once finished AC reboot the monitor.
If you see different colors in a sequence ( Red > Green > blue > white > …) set the
Burnin = Off ( see the red marker in above picture).
