Dragon 1.0 - Setup Guide - Video Wall

Note:
This guide shows you the steps required to set-up a video wall

Video wall daisy chaining (passing video signal from one screen to another) must only be done through DVI loop through and/or Display Port loop through.

Using the 1st screen's HDMI interface as the input source and daisy chaining it via DVI is not recommended as it will create picture issue.

Overview

Some tasks (eg. To set unique monitor id for each screen and SW update) are best done when the screens are not yet mounted and wired up.
It’s best to do the tasks in the following order:
  1. Update the SW to the latest SW (best done prior to mounting)
  2. Configure Unique monitor IDs for each screen (best done prior to mounting and wiring)
  3. Other settings can also be done prior to mounting the screen on the set. (easier). Mount the screens by taking notes of the “Mounting Tips & Requirements”.
  4. Connect the Video cable, IR cable, RS232 Cable and IR Extender
  5. Setting up tiling and other configuration if you haven’t done so prior to mounting.

If the IR Sensor of the 1st screen in the daisy chain is obscured by the setup, please ensure that the IR Sensor Cable is connected to it and positioned in an easy to access location.

4K@30Hz can be displayed on the entire video wall (individual screen only support 1080p max) via DP input on the first monitor and DP daisy chain
