Philips BDL/HFL Unpacking and Installation Guideline


2.1. Unpacking
• This product is packed in a carton, together with the standard accessories.
• Any other optional accessories will be packed separately.
• As this product is high and heavy, the operation of moving the device is recommended to be performed by two technicians.
• After opening the carton, ensure that the contents are complete and in good condition.
■ Before Unpacking
• Please read and fully understand unpacking notice before installation.
• Please check the packaging for any abnormalities, such as creaking, dents, etc.
• Please do necessary inspection before you move the display out of the carton.
• Always have an experienced technician install the display to prevent any damage.

■ Notice
• For display with handles:
- Take the display out of the carton box by two or four adults with both hands.
- Hold onto the handles when moving the display


• For display without handle:
- Take the display out of the carton box by two adults with both hands.
- Please do not grab or touch the glass of the display.
- Grasp the bezel surface (plastic or metal) of the display

 When removing the display from the box, leave the protective bag inside and take care not to touch the glass of the display to
avoid any damage.


• Please keep the display upright when moving it.


• Place the display vertically and its weight should spread evenly on the surface.

• Keep the display upright, without bending or twisting it while moving


■ Unpacking Process
1. Remove the tape.

2. Remove all accessories and top cushion from the top
opening of the packaging. 

3. Discard the cardboard and open the packing bag.

4. Install the wall mount kit (*) while the display is still in the
bottom cushion.(* need to purchase separately)

* The recommended number of professional personnel for
unpacking and installation requirements is at least 2 for 65"
& 75" models, and 4 for the 86" model.


5. Two people on the sides should hold the top handles
from the back of the display, while two others help hold
the display from the bottom.

6. Carefully move the display until the bottom handles are
out of the box. Two people on the sides should hold the 4
handles, while two others stand at the front and back of
the display to support the bottom.

. The person who was initially at the back of the display
should move to the front, so that all four people can
mount the display onto the wall.
