BDL4052E Normal upgrade to Latest Software
Introduction
Perform this Update only if the current screen's SW is FB02.06T or higher.
Normal firmware update can only be done for the same Android Version.
BDL4052E has 2 different Android versions, differentiated by FB01.xx (older FW version) and FB02.xx (later FW version)
To update Firmware Version from from FB01.xx to FB02.xx require the Forced Upgrade SOP - https://support.westan.com.au/portal/en-gb/kb/articles/bdl4052e-forced-upgrade-to-latest-sw
To check the SW version, press info,7,7. The firmware version is FBxx.xx
If your screen's software is FB01.xx and you want to update it to the latest FW version on later Android version, please follow this procedure instead, which is a bit more complex. It will also wipe out all of the settings, apps and data currently in the screen.

Software update (update.zip)
Format the USB Drive with the following settings:
File system=FAT32
Allocation unit size = 64 kilobyte
Download the latest update.zip into USB Drive.
the latest version is FB02.14
Download and put files into the root directory of the USB Drive.
Performing the Android SW update
Plug in the USB drive to the screen.
Press the HOME button on the remote controller
Select "Android settings" or press the remote control sequence HOME, 1, 8, 8, 8 to access the Android menu:
Enter the password (default 1,2,3,4)
Navigate to Settings ⇾ Signage Display ⇾ System Updates ⇾ Local update and press OK to initiate the firmware update.
The screen will restart upon completion of the firmware update.
Some USB drives do not get detected by the screen. If the screen fails to recognise the update file, try a different USB drive.
Verify the firmware has been updated by pressing INFO, 7, 7 buttons on the remote.
Installing Correct Version of TeamViewer Host app
To be able to remotely control the screen via Teamviewer session, the original Teamviewer app that came with the screen need to be uninstalled, and the version TeamViewerHost_signed_4052E.apk need to be installed afterwards.
