BDL4052E Vivi App Installation

Prepare Vivi APK in a USB Drive

Download the latest Vivi APK from this link
Put it into a USB Drive formatted in FAT32
Insert the USB Drive into the Screen's USB Drive

Turning The Screen On For The Very First Time


If you turn on the screen for the very first time, you'll see the Welcome screen.
Select "English" and Click "Start"


Set the appropriate time zone and hit Next


Tick "Unknown Sources Installation" and click "Next"


Skip LearnHub


Hit "Finish"



Allow Unknown Sources Installation if it hasn't been selected during Welcome Screen Steps

Navigate to "Android Settings" and press OK.

Key in the password, "1,2,3,4," and hit OK


Navigate to "Security"


Ensure that "Allow Unknown Sources Installation" is enabled

Install Vivi APK

Go back to the Home screen
Navigate to Apps


Navigate to "File Manager"


Select USB.. you should see Vivi APK that you've prepared.. Install it.


When installation is complete, press the Home Button using your remote control
Navigate to Configuration->Boot On Source and hit "OK"


Set Input as "Custom" and hit "Save"


Navigate to "Android Settings" and press OK.

Key in the password, "1,2,3,4," and hit OK


Navigate to "Signage Display"

Navigate to Source Settings


Navigate to Android Source


Navigate to "Custom App"




Select Vivi Receiver and hit "Save"


Set The Screen to the correct time zone


Press Home button on the remote to bring the Settings Menu
Navigate to "Advanced"->"Date and Time"
