Resolution
Replace the panel (screen)
Before You Start
Power the display off, unplug from mains, and allow it to cool down
Prepare a clean work surface and appropriate tools
Ensure the technician has reviewed the reference videos before attending site
Confirm site busy hours and pre-arrange attendance time (do not attend unannounced)
Critical Documentation Requirement (Must Do)
After removing the rear cover, take clear photos of the internal layout
Photos must show component positions and cable connection routing clearly
Purpose: to ensure correct reassembly on the new panel and avoid cable misrouting
Additional Photo Requirements (Recommended by Philips)
Take detailed photos of the internal connections before disconnecting anything
Capture photos of the front bezel area after removal (if applicable for the model/service method)
Organise screws by type and position, keep different screw types separated and labelled
Panel Replacement Procedure (High Level SOP)
Ensure the display is powered off, unplugged, and cooled
Remove the back cover carefully (avoid damaging internal cables)
Record internal layout with photos before disconnecting any cables
Disconnect internal components as required (power board, main board, other PCBs)
Remove the existing panel from mounting points/brackets carefully
Align and install the new panel using original screws and mounting points
Reconnect all internal components, following the recorded layout photos
Refit the back cover, confirm no cables are pinched
Power on and verify the fault is resolved
Apply firmware updates or configuration if required by the job scope
