CMND minimum requirements

CMND minimum requirements

  • A PC or laptop running Windows (Windows 7, 8 and 10 are supported)
  • 8GB of RAM at least
  • In case you want to use CMND in the RF network a supported Dektec card is required
  • A 256 GB HDD with at least 50GB of free space
  • Recommended to be on independent server to avoid software conflicts
  • Server needs to be on same subnet/VLAN as TVs

For IP installations:
  1. Network needs to be configured and working properly. This can either be wired or wireless but for best customer experience we recommend using the wired interface.
  2. Static IP address for CMND is recommended. TVs can be assigned IP address by DHCP
  3. Make sure all necessary services are turned on so that the TV can be discovered and can communicate with the server. Please make sure all Webservices (TvDiscovery, ProfessionalSettingsService, IPUpgradeService, PMSService and SystemStatusService) and all WeblisteningServices (PowerService, TVDiscoveryService, IPUpgradeService and PMSService). TV Power mode needs to be set to FAST
  4. CMND makes use of Java, MySQL, Tomcat, Apache
  5. Ports used by CMND are 8005, 8080, 8082, 3306, 8443, 8444
  6. Ports used by HTV are 9079, 9080, 9443 
  7. Ports used by Signage are: 21 (non-Android monitors), 2121 (Android monitors by default), 5000, 5555
