1. Download the upgrade file
· Using Web browser, navigate to the links below to download version for your display
2. Prepare Upgrading file
· Change the upgrading file name to MstarUpgrade_848.bin
· Save the file in the root directory on empty FAT32 formatted USB drive.
· Insert the drive to the USB port of the machine.
3. Starting the upgrade direct from USB drive
· Using the rocker switch on the back of the display near the power cord switch the unit off
· Press the power button on front of display and at the same time turn on power switch on back of display and keep pressing the power button until the LED on front of display starts to flash red.
· Once LED is flashing, release the power button and wait for upgrade to complete
· The display will restart.
· At this point it should boot up and put you through the start up screens to select your network etc. The firmware requires internet to connect and license properly. When this process is complete if the screen appears out of scale (aka the wrong resolution) as seen in the picture below then continue the steps below
· Verify that there is an ethernet cable connected power cycle the display using the power rocker switch or the power cable to restart the device. It will license over the internet via the connected ethernet cable.
