Warning:

Updating the image will remove all of your saved files and installed applications as well as reset the panel settings to factory defaults. 

Once completed the panel will reboot relaunch just like it was originally for initial setup out of box.

Procedure for Update:

1. Download the correct "MstarUpgrade.bin" file:

2. Copy the image file “MstarUpgrade.bin” to the root directory of a FAT32 formatted USB drive.
3. Place the FAT32 formatted USB drive with the panel image into the Media USB slot on the front panel.
   
   
4. Once the USB drive is inserted into the Media USB port hard power off the panel using the power rocker switch at the back of unit. 
5. Now hold down the right arrow (middle button) on the front panel and then turn on the AC power rocker switch, still holding down the button. The panel LED in the right lower corner will start blinking red then go to red and then it will start blinking red again. 
   
   
6. At this point, release the front panel button you were holding down. The panel firmware is now updating.
7. The code update will take 5-10 minutes to install when it is installed the panel will reboot and come up just like it was out of the original box.
8. Once rebooted verify the panel firmware version by going to the Android Home Screen ⇾ open the sidebar ⇾ select the Options icon (four small squares in box) ⇾ select the Settings icon (gear) ⇾ select “About”.  
9. The Software version in the Android Options About screen should reflect version: 1.0.5.12 (55"); 1.0.4.12 (75")
