LightCast 3 - Miracast Times Out

The Miracast connection uses a lot of network resources and the LC3 app is configured that if there is no connection for an hour or if you restart Android device then it resets.  It is a deliberate function to reduce the network resources if users leave it switched on.

Nov 17, 2022 Update: The LightCast app version 5.4.1.5370 is now configured to stay on once a user manually turns on the Miracast option in the LC3 settings. It will only turn off when a user manually disables the switch.
This app version will be released in an update to INFxx10 devices soon.


Procedure:
  1. Download the app and copy it to a FAT32-formatted USB flash drive
  2. On INFxx10 device, confirm that installing apps from unknown sources is allowed (go to Settings > System > Security > Unknown Sources)
  3. Plug in the USB drive to INFxx10 and open the Finder app
  4. Double-click on the APK file to run it
