InFocus 40 Series - How to Set Up a New Mondopad v5 PC
When purchasing a Mondopad you will receive a screen and a PC.
It is recommended you plug in a keyboard and mouse for easier installation.
- Make sure the screen is unplugged from the wall.
- Slot the PC into the screen on the Right side of the panel, you will have to unscrew a small metal plate protecting the slot.
HINT!: We recommend that you connect an Ethernet cable to the PC so that Windows OS can update during setup, including Wi-Fi drivers. - Turn on the power to the screen, select the PC input
- The PC will boot up for the first time, select the region you are in (eg New Zealand)
ALERT!: If the PC stops on the BIOS screen and won't proceed to load Windows, please see the below guide to install Windows OS:

- Select the US keyboard layout
- Skip if you don't wish to add a second keyboard layout
- Select "I don't have internet". in the bottom left corner
- Select "Continue with limited setup"
- Accept the Windows 10 License Agreement
- Type in the user name as 'Admin' it will not accept Administrator
- Leave the Password field blank and select next
- Accept the default privacy settings
- The PC will take several minutes to set up the rest of the PC. the Input may handshake.
- The PC will open up to the default internet browser, connect to you local network
- Download the latest version of the Mondopad Software, this will take several minutes

- Right-click on the EXE file and select 'Run as administrator'
- Select Next through the installation wizard.
- Finally to make sure the PC runs smoothly, download and install any available updates for the Windows 10 Device, under Settings > Update and Security > Windows Update
If you have a Windows 10 activation key activate it under Settings > Update and Security > Activation
Note: Windows updates may take several hours, with multiple restarts required. Never unplug the screen and PC from the power
