BDL4152E Philips ScreenShare by DisplayNote

Overview

Philips ScreenShare by DisplayNote is the screen sharing app that comes pre-installed with the BDL4152E.

User can share screen and stream video from their Apple devices, Android devices and Windows.

Ensure Screen is Running the latest SW

Please refer to the SOP in the link below on how to check the screen SW version and also how to update it

Running The "Philips ScreenShare" App On The Screen

Steps:

1. Ensure "All aps" gestured is enabled

      Press the Home button on the remote control

      Select Android Settings (if there's a password, you need to ask the System Admin to provide you the password)

      Select Signage Display

      Select General settings

      Select Gestures

      Ensure "All apps" is ticked

      Exit the menu by pressing the back button on the remote or Press the Home button on the screen's bezel to bring up the Home dashboard

2. Open Up the Apps page

      On the Home Dashboard screen, swipe up from the bottom of the screen (see below)

      

      Press "Philips ScreenShare" for a couple of seconds and drag it onto the Dashboard screen

3. Runs the "Philips ScreenShare" App on the screen

      When you run the app for the very first time, it will ask you if you want to "install updates". Go ahead and click "install updates"

      When asked if you want to update the screen, confirm by pressing Update

      Once done, Open up the App
